Charity Quiz
Dog & Partridge Marchington
Thursday 11th April 9:00pm
One of our villagers, Jim Hawkins, is running the London marathon this year.
Jim and his work colleagues are trying to reach a fundraising goal of
£60,000 to help the work of a very worthwhile, but little-known charity.
The charity’s mission is to positively transform the lives of children and young people with a disability or facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland with the power of rugby, promoting core values of Passion, Integrity, Teamwork and Fun. Each year Wooden Spoon funds around 70 projects, from community programmes and specialist playgrounds, to medical treatment centres and sensory rooms. Since 1983, they’ve distributed over £26 million to more than 700 projects, helping more than a million children.
We hope you can get together with your friends and join us for some fun at the D&P, thus helping Jim reach his fundraising target.
The fee for entering the quiz is £10.00 per team
(maximum team size 4 persons)
